Why This Program, Why Now?

Facilitating well isn’t always easy. As you take on the role of facilitator, you might find yourself navigating unclear agendas, managing group tension, or trying to guide conversations where emotions run high and outcomes feel uncertain.

It’s common to question your approach—Am I holding too much? Not enough? Am I doing it right?

In today's landscape of complexity and rapid change, facilitation has become an essential leadership capability. Whether you’re guiding a meeting, holding space for difficult conversations, or leading a group through change, how you facilitate a space can shift what’s possible. The old ways of leading; directing, fixing, controlling often fall short.

Growing the Inner Foundations of Conscious Facilitation

Your facilitation impact is shaped by not just what you do, but by how you show up. In every room and every interaction, your presence and energy influence what unfolds.

This 3 day residential program is designed to grow your capacity from the inside out—strengthening the core foundations to help deepen your awareness, skill, and range as a facilitator so you can create environments where real transformation becomes possible.

    Presence

Cultivate a deeper connection to self—so you can stay grounded, aware, and open in the midst of complexity or emotion.

  • A man in a red shirt leading a discussion in a group meeting with four diverse women seated around him in an office

    Relational Intelligence

Build your ability to read the room, navigate dynamics, and create safe, inclusive spaces where people feel seen, heard and able to genuinely contribute.

  • Close-up of a spider web at night with a spider hanging in the center, illuminated by an orange glow.

    Systemic Awareness

Develop the lens to sense what’s happening beneath the surface—across individuals, groups, and the wider context—and respond with insight and care.

  • Silhouette of a multi-directional signpost against a colorful sunset sky.

    Discernment

Refine your capacity to know what’s truly yours to hold—and what isn’t—so you facilitate with integrity, boundaries, and trust in the process.

What You’ll Walk Away With

  • Understand what it truly means to facilitate—not by leading from the front, but by creating the conditions for others to think, connect, and contribute.

  • Whole body-based practices to stay open, grounded, and resourced—especially when tension, emotion,or uncertainty arise.

  • The ability to listen beyond words and ask questions that spark insight, unlock group wisdom, and move conversations forward.

  • The capacity to stay with discomfort, difference, and moments that matter—without rushing to fix.

  • Develop the awareness to read group dynamics and sense patterns, energy, and interdependencies.

  • Expand your ability to move between structure and emergence, lightness and depth - depending on what the moment calls for.

  • This isn’t a one-off. You’ll leave with grounded practices, reflective tools, and a community of peers to support your ongoing development as a conscious facilitator and leader.

A Developmental Experience,
Held in Community

Conscious facilitation is not something we master alone. It’s honed in relationship with ourselves, with others, and within the systems we serve.

This experience is designed to stretch and support you as you grow your facilitation capacity, while being held in a community of peers on the same path.

You’ll experience:

Practices that land in your body—not just your head

You’ll move, breathe, notice, and anchor your learning in lived experience.

A space where you can be real

You won’t need to perform or have it all together. Honesty, reflection, and insight are welcome here.

Learning that draws on everyone in the room

The group’s wisdom is a resource—not just the facilitators’. You’ll learn with and from each other.

Time to slow down and make sense

You’ll have space to pause, reflect, and connect the dots in real time—not just after the fact.

Frameworks that deepen your practice, not complicate it

You’ll explore vertical development, the Thinking Environment®, and Systems-Inspired Leadership in ways that feel grounded and usable.

A multi-layered experience

You’ll be invited to explore yourself, your relationships, and the systems you’re part of—and how they all show up when you facilitate.

Retreat in nature, without the noise

You’ll rest, reset, and immerse in this work on a peaceful 10-acre estate, with nourishing meals and space to breathe.

Integration that lasts beyond the retreat

You’ll leave with practical tools, reflective practices, and embodied insights you can return to—long after the retreat ends.
